I like this one the best. Doesn’t have that “McMansion” look that the others did. My house had foundation issues, too. The original piers were still in place when we bought it. (Beau d’arc piers from actual beau’darc trees–who knew–and I probably misspelled that.) When we fixed the foundation, that meant repairing every wall in the whole house. Not really a problem for you since you would do that anyway. I like it and it IS on your favorite street. You really just need one bright spot for blogging to set up your shots, right? One part of me wants you to find a house, and the other part of me wants you to keep looking so I can read about all the houses. . . selfish, I know!
The foundation issue is definitely daunting especially on a 2 story brick home. It should be easier than slab foundation to fix though since it has a basement. The concerning part is why didn’t they fix it before they put it on the market. The style and the location are definitely more our speed. Hey we could look at houses forever too. Maybe we will just warp this blog into a house creeping site!
