Guess what you guys? I am officially a Realtor in North Texas! I worked my butt off this summer between all the traveling and got my license! Now all of you need to buy/sell a home via me. Yes, I am talking to you.
If you’re looking for a real estate agent in DFW, I’m your girl. What’s in it for you? (Besides the obvious fun we will have skipping from house to house.)

Design consultation, my friends.ย If you buy or sell with me, you get some free design services to go along with it. It does not get any cooler. Whether you want a mood board or you want me to come in and work with what you have, I can do that! Want to buy a fixer upper, we can create a plan for a complete kitchen, bath, *insert dream space here*.
So if you are looking to buy in DFW and you use me as your realtor (once we close on the house), you can get a mood board for say the living room or I can come over and rearrange what you’ve got, talk about details, style, color, pattern, all things design for that space.
If you are looking to sell in DFW and I list your house, same rules apply. I can come stage and style a space for all the showings. If you’ve already moved out, then I can work in your new space. Whatever you prefer.

Let’s go look at some houses this weekend. What do you say? Email me via the tiny mail icon on the sidebar or leave a comment here. I’ll get back you so we can start planning your big move!
Such cool news! Congratulations! If I were buying or selling in DFW I’d definitely give you a call. Good luck and hope it all goes well!
Thanks Laura! So after the newborn stage slows down for a bit, you’re moving here right? ๐
Hey, there’s an idea. Maybe a winter home, like a small dude ranch or something. The toddler and baby could learn to ride horses and start calling me “ma’am.” I like it!
EEEEEEEK i am so excited for you!!!! you are going to rock it! i wish i was there with you so we could flip some houses. not that it’s in my budget, but i want to do it!
Now you’re talking Cassie. I think you should move down here, so we can get on that plan.
Congrats!!! I’ll make sure to send anyone I know in the area your way!
Thanks Lani! You’re the best!
This is exciting! Congratulations. Having a good design sense and being able to spot diamonds in the rough is often sorely needed in the real estate community.
You can do a real-life HOUSE HUNTERS!!!
Thanks Katie! My whole life will be like an episode of House Hunters!
Congrats!!!! And dude. I’d totally let you help me buy a house. And help me pick out lights that aren’t too small. (I can’t tell if you’re serious or joking.)
I’ll tell all of my Dallas friends. I don’t have any. But if I make any. You’re it!
OH Michelle, you know I think you can do no wrong as long as you’re doing whatever you want!
It sounds like you need to make some Dallas friends pretty quick!
This is so great and I’m so excited for you! I wish you lived here!
I wish you lived here…and I can help you with that! ๐
This post works for me on practically every conceivable level! It has the best title evah! Some slight burn towards Nick about the email button /waving at Nick/ A fabulous mood board where I want everything and awesome news on top of that! Congratulations!!!
(now planning my DFW move)
Bahaha you caught the burn. It’s because you know all the insider details! A move to DFW is basically the only option you have now! Think of how much fun we would have/trouble we would get into!
SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU. And I wish you were licensed here in Illinois. I need you. Badly.
I wish I was too, but then I wouldn’t live here and that gives me the sads. Think the barn could stand another move to say Texas. I’m sure I could find a nice piece of property to put it on!
Congratulations!!! You’ll be awesome. The prospect of you as my realtor is almost enough to make me move to Texas ๐
Thank you! Almost enough? What if I find Jeff a commercial space to move his practice down here? Eh, eh.
congrats to you!!!
Thanks Stephanie!
I love this idea – one stop shop for all things home!!! Have a great weekend and congrats on getting your license!
Thanks Jenn! Also it’s a bonus because you know any money I make will funnel it’s way into the house i.e. blog content. It’s a win win here!
Congrats! Love the design consultation idea!
Thanks Caitlin!!
Woot! Congrats! I’m never moving again, but if I did, and it was to Texas, I would be very excited about house hunting with you
Haha thanks Gretchen…I think.
How exciting! Congratulations! I’m sure your clients will love the design advice and/or staging.
Thanks Anu!!
Congratulations!! I’m totally moving to DFW, just for the chance to get an official Amber Wills design consultation. You’re going to be amazing, my friend!
Bahaha is that all I had to do to get you here?!?! I was basically begging you when we were in Atlanta. Glad I found a way to get you here…you are serious right. I mean I’ve already pulled a list of homes you need and called the agents saying I have a very interested buyer so don’t proceed with anything until I get back with them.
Okay that seriously sounds fun. If you’re ever hurting for post ideas, you should pull a list of homes for random people like that, and talk about what they could do with them if they bought.
Oh my gosh I was in a house this weekend and thought this house is begging for a blogger to come fix it! It was well maintained just dated and had some seriously cool quirky things about it. What I’m saying is you need to buy it Kelly.
Oooh we would have an awesome time skipping from house to house. I just know it. I’d love to convince the hubby to move to Texas.
Even better we could flip houses together Julia! Did I just blow your mind?! So about that move…
I made him look at jobs in Texas a while ago already. The homes are much cheaper than here, it would be kind of awesome
And the job market is crazy good down here too!! You would love it here!
This is so cool Amber because YES I will be abusing your real estate powers all the way from Austin;)
Abuse away. Maybe one day I will convince you that you need to move up here. #partofmymasterplan
Congratulations! If I were moving to the DFW area, you would totally be my realtor!
You could get a lot of house here…I’m just saying I know SF is crazy!
Congratulations! Apologies for being very late to the comments here. However, the topic of real estate business was too enticing to ignore. You are now licensed in a profession that may serve you very well for very long… my wife has been a Realtor since 1975. Currently in our hometown, she is the longest continually licensed and practicing Realtor. And the guy that is the second knows that she is the first for as long as she wants to be. Her office is the local Coldwell Banker. BTW, this is her blog: http://janetmortonrealtor.com/blog/
Enjoy all your good clients, properties, colleagues, continuing education, Christmas parties, etc. It’s more than location, location, location… being a Realtor is about understanding people
..
Thank you! Both my parents have been in real estate for a long time. In fact my mom is my broker! I’m looking forward to all the exciting happenings!
